Empowering brands at retail

The fasteners category is an extremely complex one for the DIY’er to navigate. Jason Wheatley from ITW Proline approached 5P Group to develop a system that would give the shoppers more confidence around the purchase decision and reduce the need for in store assistance.

The challenges for 5P were:

  • Present the Brand and visual aids in a consistent manner
  • To develop a flexible and permanent system that could attach to any store fixture (and there we many different styles in the trade)
  • Allow for easy updating of graphics
  • Installation to carried out by the ITW field teams

 

 

The system was rolled out in 2014 through Mitre 10 and independent hardware stores across Australia and NZ. The overall visual impact of the display supported ITW Proline’s position as Australia’s leading supplier of fastener and hardware products.
